But that’s for another post..
1) Draw your shape on your fabric and cut it out.. 2) Spray startch on the back of it.. 3)Iron it to the wall!.This little rocking horse approves of his new shady tree to stand under..
This discovery has been like a whole new world opening up to me this week.I’ve been sticking stuff on our walls left, right, and centre, just to see what works.Kennedy and Chris aren’t too sure what to make of it, but they’re humoring me, as usual.. Let me tell you, I have made some pretty fun little discoveries.
Stay tuned for more ways to stick things to your walls and confuse your family!OK, so this is actually our side door, but it’s the one everyone uses for now..This is one of those little ideas that makes my friends and family think I’m a little nuts.
There are probably many of those.
It makes me happy though, and it’s in the name of making our house feel a little happier too.. We have this rickety screen door leading to our mudroom, that you get to by going up a set of rickety steps on the side of our house.now.. Is this normal?
Why don’t I just crave ice cream or chocolate or something?.I used basically the same technique as I used on.
Kennedy’s Horsey Pillow from a few months ago.. Flour sack, ribbons, hot glue, old pillow, free image off the net..Since I chose a little bit of a more complicated silhouette this time, I printed it out onto wax paper and then pressed that (still wet) onto the fabric, rather than attempting to trace it and ruining all my hard(ish) work that I did making the cover..
