Bigger than buzzwords: design automation at Bryden Wood
It would probably be funnier if I said “On my thighs”, but I’m more of a belly fat kinda girl.. Well.
I happen to have an entire deconstructed wall!.And I’ve been holding out on you.
My bedroom wall has been sporting this of-the-moment look for about 8 months now..How selfish of me to keep all this stunning inspiration for myself.. Don’t worry.I’m not under the false impression that these pictures actually make things any better, they just have no where else to go right now.
Our bedroom is a bit of a dumping ground for odds and ends lately.. As becoming as this look is, I’m actually hoping this wall will become a little.deconstructed sometime in the near future.. And then maybe a little re-construction wouldn’t hurt either. When I was growing up, my mom used to love shopping at thrift stores, and still does.
I, on the other hand, used to not love it so much.
Actually I found it an icky and traumatizing experience.Of course Chris stepped in and decided to do things the “right way”.
And his right way was, well….We don’t really want a wobbly chalkboard that could fall down at any second hanging in our daughter’s room.
So here’s what he used!.He got these little inter-locking hanging things from the hardware store.. To make sure the chalkboard would sit flush on the wall, he routed out a section of the frame and put one piece in on each side..
